For animal owners it is important that they can offer the highest level of lifestyle for their pets. The need to provide trusted information and education was key to the Bayer Animal Health website and campaign strategies.
By building on the three key pillars of empathy, education and empowerment the website allows users to understand their pets or livestock conditions, how to manage them and what products are best to treat them. All essential to maintain the animal’s wellbeing and to build trust with the Bayer brand.
In addition to providing condition and product information it was important to Bayer that the site could support their compliance program. We were tasked with developing a reminder service that would inform registered users of when they needed to re-treat their pets. The service is tailored to each individual case by breed, age and size to ensure that all treatments are appropriately applied. Users can also choose their delivery method through either email or SMS to meet their needs.
On the back of the success of the main website, Bayer commissioned @www to manage their online advertising and media spend across their core products. To ensure that each campaign was tracked against true objectives the treatment reminder service was utilised to prove compliance and provide tangible results against media spend.
